Houston’s humid heat was approaching record temps in Houston during the week of this wedding. Jheranie and Daven had been looking forward to an outdoor ceremony for months and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. The Springs Cypress is large enough to accommodate either an indoor or outdoor ceremony for up to 300+ guests. At the ceremony space, each guest was gifted a hand fan to help keep cool as they looked on. With both the bridal and groom suite on site, it’s ideal for ceremony prep and getting ready. Its indoor ballroom is embellished with large windows which overlook the brick paved garden. There are so many beautiful spots to choose from for wedding day photos.

Wedding at The Springs Cypress in Houston TX
This Chateau in Cypress is by far one of the best venue options that The Springs has to offer. It’s perfect for your special celebration if you’re looking for a classy and elegant venue choice for your nuptials. This wedding in particular was a black tie affair and every guest came dressed to impress. Jheranie and Daven were such a pleasure to work with. They pulled everything off beautifully! Though it was a pretty hot summer wedding we had the opportunity to pop into the ballroom to cool off as much as we needed. It helps that the ceremony ended close to golden hour so the heat was bearable for photos afterward.
Wedding Photography At The Springs Cypress
One of the major perks (for you and your photographer) is that the venue is perfectly nestled within the trees that surround the property. Not only does it help with shade that cool things down a bit on those hot weekends in Houston, but they’re a great background for your couple’s photos. Pro Tip: sun sets towards the rear of the venue to the far left (west) end, so don’t forget to make your way to the front of the venue for an iconic photo with perfect light before sunset.
